HEAVY TRANSPORT REACTOR

 |
Globalink Logistics Group successfully, efficiently and ahead of schedule delivered 2 reactor chambers weighing a mammoth 255 tons each, from Slovakia to Turkmenistan.
The task was by no means easy or standard. The shipment, loaded under the supervision of experienced and qualified Globalink personnel, was tugged through the Danube to the Black Sea where river tow boats were replaced by ocean ones for the haul to Ilichevsk. Then transloaded onto a sea vessel, the journey continued through Rostov via the Volga Don into the Caspian Sea and reached Turkmenbashi Port. With one of the many legs of this incredible journey over, the cargo was then loaded onto a 20 axle trailer for the final trip to its destination: a refinery. As complicated and intricate as the entire operation was Globalink stayed on top of the situation all the way through by constantly tracking the shipment from origin to destination.
With an extensive network of offices throughout The Baltics, The CIS, Asia and the Middle East, and supported by a staff of 500, Globalink is an international forwarding, projects and relocation management company that handles the movement of cargo via sea, land and air throughout the world. With a diverse service portfolio, Globalink has the expertise to handle all shipments ranging from delivering the smallest instrument across the globe to moving a giant offshore drilling platform from the North Sea to the Caspian Sea.
Founded in 1993 and with its CIS headquarters in Almaty, Kazakhstan, Globalink has come to be recognized as one of the most successful and largest privately owned full service logistics provider in the CIS. Publications have cited Globalink as one of the largest and - in terms of per capita sales - one of the most efficient multimodal logistics company in the market and the preferred choice of Fortune 500 companies.
