Unique Heavy-Lift system strengthening
full service in project logistics
German Riedl Group is enforcing industrial service capabilities within their full service logistics package serving international heavy lift transports and project logistics by a newly developed Strand Jacks Lift System. The new LHS600 device setting a milestone in assembling techniques had been developed and designed by engineers of Riedl & Tschierschke GmbH based in Karben near Frankfurt/M.
Computer controlled hydraulic LHS600 system is equipped by tubular piston cylinders with clamping devices at the top and bottom of the cylinders locking the strand cables when lifting and lowering alternately.. When the bottom clamp is locking the strand nonpositively the cylinder takes up the next lift in a step of up to 40 mm. Computer control enables synchronous operation of all strand lifts. On demand the cylinders may also be operated in groups or indivudually even. Due to absolute secure lifting operation the LHS600 has been approved that working is allowed below hanging loads.
Moreover steel constructon of the lifting framework has been designed not only lighter than all other comparable systems in the market but is based on a modular system. Dismantled components of the steel rack can be shipped in each standard container up to the final destination in Europe or abroad and may be erected on spot at the foundation. This also include the rail tracks for skidding the gantry frame horizontally by a hydraulic Teflon push-pull system. Dimensions of the lifting frame rack may be individually adapted to actual conditions and requirements on the job site due to the modular design. For bulky components the framework may be extended to a span of up to 25 m and a lifting height of 25 m, respectively enabling to lift and move loads of up to 300 tons in each direction. At a reduced span of 10 m lift capacity of LHS600 is rising to 600 tons.
The new system substantially facilitates assembling and de-assembling of industrial plants, presses, power plant components and other heavy equipment. By means of the LHS600 system the Riedl Group companies extend their scope of full service to shippers and exporters of industrial plants for the entire logistics chain from foundation to foundation.
